Marathon County Crime Stoppers is trying to identify the person responsible for the theft of a gun and a Garmin GPS from a car.

Sometime between March 22nd and March 28th, 2013 and unknown person entered a vehicle while it was parked at an unknown location in Central Wisconsin.  The theif stole a Ruger .22 handgun that had the phrase "Made in the 200th year of American Liberty" inscribed in the barrel, similar to the gun shown in the photos below.  A Garmin Nuvi 2555lmt GPS was also stolen from the car.

During the weekend of November 24, 2012, someone stole approximately 10 steel cattle gates weighing 300-400 lbs. each from property near Hatley, WI.

Sometime between September 25th and October 13th, 2012, a 17-foot Wenonah brand fiberglass canoe was stolen from the Teal Flowage in the Mead Wildlife Area.  The owner had permission to chain the canoe to a tree and leave it overnight.  The canoe was painted in a camouflage pattern, as shown in the photo, and is valued around $1,500.

Sometime between July 21st and 23rd, 2012 someone stole a generator from a work site in Brokaw.  The generator is a Wacker model GS9.7 valued at $2,000 and is yellow and black.  It has a sticker on the front with a owner-applied ID number of 6006.

The male pictured below stole two Dyson vacuum cleaners from a local retailer.  He left in a black Cadillac EST with no license plates, driven by a blonde female.

In December, a Rothschild resident reported that her Wisconsin FoodShare Electronic Benefit Transfer Card (EBT Card) was stolen and used without her permission.  The card was used for purchases at Wal Mart in Rib Mountain on December 15, 2010 by the woman in the photos below.

Sometime between December 15, 2009 and June 17, 2010 an unknown person(s) stole approximately 1100 bushels of corn from a storage bin located on County Highway U in the Township of Rib Falls.  The stolen corn is valued at over $3,400.

Sometime between June 17 and August 16, 2010 an unknown person(s) stole an orange and white highway barricade that was marking a road hazzard near the intersection of County Highway A and County Highway F in the Township of Holton.  Photographs of a similar barricade are below.

Sometime in the weeks or days prior to August 31, 2010, someone caused damage to equipment at Synagro Central on Stewart Avenue in the Township of Stettin.  Rocks were thrown through windows and graffiti was spray painted on vehicles.

Someone stole approximately $1000 worth of lumber from the Tropicana Bar on STH 153 in the Township of Mosinee and Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to identify the person(s) reponsible. 

Sometime between September 3rd and September 5th, 2010 someone stole several 2x4, 2x6, and 2x8 pieces of lumber that were staked outside of the bar to use for remodeling.  The thief also took mahogany trim.

An unknown person(s) stole several pintle hitches (see photo below) and propane tanks from a landscaping business in Rib Mountain.  The victim business reported that thefts have been an ongoing problem throughout the summer.

On July 16, 2010 at approximately 6:00 p.m., unknown person(s) stole a homemade horse trailer from a home on State Highway 97 in the Township of Rietbrock. 

The trailer is described as a two-axle tandem and can haul two horses.  On one side of the trailer, there is a head of a jersey cow and the words "K&G Jersey`s".  The fold-down tailgate was made out of treated 2x6 boards.  There was a slow moving vehicle sign on the back of the tailgate.  There was also a big smiley face and the word "hi" painted on the tailgate in black paint.  The roof of the trailer was made from corrugated tin.  A picture of the trailer is below. 

Witnesses observed a smaller grey or silver pick-up truck with a topper leave the property and travel southbound on State Highway 97 with the trailer between 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on July 16, 2010.
