On October 2, 2024, an unknown person was on the grounds of the South Mountain Elementary School between 10:20 Pm and 10:40 PM. While on the property the individual attempted to gain access to the building by pulling on doors and cutting screens to two windows.
The individual climbed a ten-foot fence and entered the mechanical area of the building but did not cause damage there.

On September 23, 1988, Brian Jehn went missing. Brian was last seen at a bar in the Wausau area. On November 22, 1988, Brian’s body was found in a wooded area off Balsam Road South of Locker Road in the Town of Knowlton.
The autopsy determined Brian’s death was a homicide by blunt force trauma to the head and rib area. It is believed Brian was not killed at the location in which he was found, but rather transported there after his death and his body concealed.
It has been 36 years since Brian was killed. There is reason to believe the suspect(s) still reside within Marathon County. We are asking for your help to uncover the truth and bring closure to Brian’s family and friends.

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your identifying the persons responsible breaking into, causing damage in and attempting to burn the UW Stevens Point Art Building.
On Tuesday, June 16, 2024, at approximately 4:40 PM two young white males broke into the UWSP Art building. While inside the males used a chop saw to try and cut a glass ball however, it shattered.
A pile of half burnt cardboard was also located in the basement of the building, which could have led to a large structure fire.
The water to the building was shut off and one or both males defecated in toilets, however they could not be flushed.
Video surveillance shows the young males as follows:
One male was wearing a black short sleeve t-shirt with a white design on the front, black baseball cap, and white tennis shoes.
The second male was wearing long dark colored shorts, he had a black t-shirt off and wrapped around his neck, and a white baseball cap.
The same males were caught on camera in a different UWSP building on 08/23/2024.

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your identifying the persons responsible for attacking and battering an elderly man at Sunnyvale Park.
On Sunday, July 14, 2024, at approximately 5:16 PM. Deputies responded to Sunnyvale Park, 1000 S 72nd Ave, in the Township of Stettin for a reported fight. Several witnesses observed an Asian or Hispanic male attacking an elderly victim.
At the time of the assault the suspect was wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts, and a black hat. The suspect was in their late 20’s to early 30’s, approximately 5’9” and 175 pounds, had a slender face, very tan, slim build, and tattoos covering both of his arms.
One witness believes the suspect may have fled the area eastbound through the park on a bicycle with large, inflated tires.

On July 13th, 2024, at approximately 4:00 p.m. an unknown male andfemale entered Menards and stole a drill kit, lithium battery, and screws. The total value of the merchandise was $407.47.
The white male was wearing a gray baseball hat, yellow t-shirt, blue jeans, and tennis shoes. The white female had brown hair and had her hair pulled back. She was wearing a blue t-shirt, tan shorts, and sandals. She also had a tattoo which appeared to wrap around her forearm, just above her wrist.

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your identifying the persons responsible for Theft and Damage to Property in the Town of Mosinee.
On June 19, 2024, between 2:00 AM and 3:30 AM three teenage/young adult males were in the area of River Vista Drive and county Road KK in the Town of Mosinee. Theses males stole items from mailboxes, damaged mailboxes, damaged other property, went into unlocked vehicles and buildings and stole and damaged items.
Damaged items included a laptop computer, key fobs, exterior video cameras, decorative lighting,
These same individuals were seen on Collie Street in the Town of Mosinee that same night. There have been previous similar complaints from the area of Remington, Winchester and Ithica Roads in the Town of Mosinee as well, which may be related.
The total estimated loss from the overnight hours of June 18th, 2024, into the Morning of June 19th, 2024, was $1035.00.
The suspects are described as follows:
Suspect 1: White/Hispanic male wearing a red bandana over his face, light green t-shirt, green gloves, white basketball style shoes with black socks, and light-colored shorts with dark medium length hair.
Suspect 2: White male wearing a black face covering, black hooded sweatshirt with light colored designs on the sleeves, back and small logo on chest, blue and white basketball style shoes with white socks, blue gloves and dark colored shorts. This male had something bright orange in the front right pocket area of his hooded sweatshirt.

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help identifying two suspects responsible for burglarizing storage units.
On May 25th, 2024 at approximately 1:08 a.m., two unknown persons unlawfully entered three storage units at the 4900 block of Stewart Avenue, in the Township of Stettin. The suspects caused $500 worth of damage to the storage units. They stole a trombone which was estimated to be valued at approximately $300. The suspects also stole computer parts which were valued at $200.
We are asking for help identifying the suspects in the attached photos for burglary. The suspects were wearing all black and had their faces covered. Their sweatshirts had distinct logos on the back that have not been identified.

On May 4, 2024, at approximately 12:40 AM, two unknown peopledamaged a window at WOW Family Entertainment and gained entry to the building through that damaged window. Once inside the individuals stole several items concealing them in a black bag then leaving through the same damaged window.
One individual was wearing blue jeans, a white Halloween type mask, white gloves, a black hooded sweatshirt, white socks and black shoes.
The other individual wore a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black shoes, and dark colored gloves.

On May 8, 2024, at 6:30 PM, an unknown person operating a small maroon car (toyota/lexus/similar make) struck two bicyclists on Plover River Road near Miller Road. The couple who was riding their bicycles were wearing helmets, but the female cyclist was thrown from her bicycle and sustained serious injuries. The operator of the car did not stop to render aid or report the crash but instead fled the area.
The vehicle is described as a compact car maroon in color (toyota/lexus/similar make) with loud exhaust and would have damage to the passenger side of the vehicle, including missing the passenger side mirror as pictured.

On January 19, 2023, at 7:15 PM and 2/3/23 at 8:34 PM an unidentified male drove a red Ford F-150 pickup truck to Lietz’s Shell convenience store in the City of Mosinee and each time fill the truck with fuel and made no attempt to pay for the fuel. The total loss was $228.05 for these two incidents.
The vehicle was not displaying a front registration plate at the time of the thefts.
The male appears to be approximately 6 feet tall and around 200 lbs and wore neon green construction type clothing. The male did not attempt to use a card and never entered the store to make or offer payment for the fuel.

At approximately 8:02 p.m. on February 23, 2024, two unidentified malesstole $75.00 worth of alcohol. The suspects concealed the alcohol in their clothing. Five bottles of various types of alcohol were stolen.
Both suspects were described as white males and approximately twenty years of age. One suspect was wearing a black winter jacket with black pants. The second suspect was wearing a grey jacket with a hooded sweatshirt underneath. He was also wearing black pants and was wearing blue and white shoes.

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help identifying a person responsible for the theft of a Cheetah print leather wallet containing $700.
On February 25th, 2024, at approximately 8:00 p.m., a wallet was left at the Laundry Room, in the Village of Weston. The wallet contained personal documents and $700 in cash.
On February 26th, 2024, at approximately 4:50 a.m., an unidentifiedfemale was seen on camera stealing the wallet and its contents. The female suspect was described as a white female, with blonde hair. She was wearing a black winter jacket, black pants, tan colored shoes.
The female suspect left the Laundry Room alone, in a blue dodge minivan with significant rust on the portion of the van. A license plate was not available.
