During the weekend of July 14th through July 18th, 2017, someone entered a van and stole an assortment of Milwaukee brand tools. Missing is a battery operated drills, a corded reciprocating saw, a cordless LED light, and a tool bag containing assorted drill bits. During the night of July 27, 2017, someone broke into a house in the 800 block of Bristers Hill Road in the Town of Stettin and stole both tools and a home theater system. The theater system was a black Sonos Bluetooth Home Stereo system. The tools included a Milwaukee Tools Jobsite radio, a Milwaukee Tools cordless impact driver, a Dremmel Multi-Max saw, along with other smaller property. All told, the victims suffered over a $2,500 loss.

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your vigilance to help put a stop to the daytime residential burglaries occurring in eastern Marathon County.
On Thursday, June 8, 2017 between the hours of 5:30am and 3:30pm, a pole barn on Willow Ln in the Township of Norrie was forcibly entered and several items were stolen which include: a Husqvarna chain saw, a 6hp blue with white top Evinrude boat motor, an impact wrench, a torch set with 2 tanks a cart an solder kit, and a power washer 3600 PSI. The total loss is estimated at $2250.
Investigators have developed information indicating that multiple suspects are responsible for the break ins. Two arrests have been made but several firearms are still unaccounted for. To date, investigators have recovered suspected stolen property and are trying to identify the rightful owners. Residents are encouraged to inspect their property for any signs of foul play.

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to find person(s) who broke into multiple vehicles in the Village of Rothschild and the City of Wausau.
During the evening hours on March 29, 2017 and on April 3, 2017, someone went into multiple vehicles and stole people`s property. The vehicles were parked in employee parking lots of various industries that operate 24 hours a day in the southern portion of Rothschild. In one instance, the employee left their wallet in the vehicle, but it was visible from outside the vehicle. Both locked and unlocked vehicles were entered. Evidence was recovered in Rothschild which indicated this person also broke into other vehicles in the City of Wausau on April 3, 2017 in the Wausau West Side Industrial Park.

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to identify the suspects involved in an armed robbery in the Township of Emmet.
On March 28, 2017 about 6:57am, an armed robbery was reported at a residence on Fairview Road. The suspects are described as one male Caucasian, approximately 5’11” and thin build. Two male Southeast Asians, approximately 5’4”. There is also possibly one female Asian involved. The suspects were wearing coverings over their face, and they were armed with a handgun and a bat during the robbery.
The suspects left the residence in an unknown direction, in a small white pickup truck with no topper. The suspects are to be considered armed and dangerous. Do not confront them, but call your local law enforcement authorities.
