Criminal Damage to a Residence

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to find the person responsible for criminal damage to a residence in the Town of Bevent.
Sometime between Wednesday, July 5, 2017 and Wednesday, July 12, 2017 someone broke both windows on a patio door and one of the windows on the side of a house located on County Line Rd. It appeared an object was thrown at the patio doors which caused them to completely shatter. The total damage is estimated at $4000.

Theft of Tools from a Vehicle
August 20, 2017
Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for information on who broke into a van and stole tools in the Town of Texas.
During the weekend of July 14th through July 18th, 2017, someone entered a van and stole an assortment of Milwaukee brand tools. Missing is a battery operated drills, a corded reciprocating saw, a cordless LED light, and a tool bag containing assorted drill bits. The victims reported loss is about $725 and will affect the victim’s livelihood.

Burglary to a Residence
August 06, 2017
Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to determine who forcibly broke into a house in the Town of Stettin.
During the night of July 27, 2017, someone broke into a house in the 800 block of Bristers Hill Road in the Town of Stettin and stole both tools and a home theater system. The theater system was a black Sonos Bluetooth Home Stereo system. The tools included a Milwaukee Tools Jobsite radio, a Milwaukee Tools cordless impact driver, a Dremmel Multi-Max saw, along with other smaller property. All told, the victims suffered over a $2,500 loss.

Criminal Damage to TERX Shredding and Recycling

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to find the person responsible for criminal damage and trespassing to a business in the Village of Brokaw.
Twice during the week July 17th, 2017, someone has trespassed on TERX Shredding and Recycling Property located in the Village of Brokaw. In an attempt to steal items, the suspects cut an exterior chain link fencing and entered the property. The estimated cost to repair the fence is $4000.

Theft from King's Campers in Rib Mountain
July 21, 2017
Marathon County Crime Stoppers is requesting your help to find the person responsible for the theft from a business in the Town of Rib Mountain.
Sometime between Sunday, June 11, 2017 and Wednesday, June 21, 2017, someone entered the Kings Campers parking lot on Lilac Ave and removed power cords from campers parked there for sale. There were three 30 amp and eleven 50 amp electric cords, 20 feet in length stolen. The total loss is estimated at approximately $3500.

Burglary to Sprint PCS Store in Wausau
July 14, 2017
Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to identify the suspects involved in the burglary of a business in the City of Wausau.
On Wednesday, June 14, 2017, about 2:00am, the glass front door of the Sprint PCS store was smashed by two suspects who then entered the store. After being in the store for about 2 minutes, the thieves left with about 57 items such as IPads, IPhones, HTC cell phones, LG cell phones, Pocket Wi-Fi’s, Slate tablets, Samsung Galaxy Tablets, and Samsung Galaxy cell phones. The total loss is estimated at approximately $35,000.

Theft of a Generator

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to find the person who stole a generator in the Town of Harrison.
Between May 27, 2017 and June 12, 2017, someone stole an orange Generac GP6500 watt generator from a property in the 4600 block of State Road 52 in the Town of Harrison. The owner related one of the wheels of the generator was damaged from animals chewing on it. The generator was valued at $800.00

Theft of Copper

Between June 19, 2017 and June 27, 2017, someone stole two full cable reels and stripped copper telephone cable from the storage yard of Mas Tec located on CTH WW. Some of the pieces taken were four or five inches in diameter. The total loss is estimated at $5000.

Theft of Mini-Bike

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to find the person who went into a garage and stole a motorized mini-bike.
In the fall of 2016, a red Honda CRF-50 mini-bike was put in a garage at a house for storage for the winter in the 2100 block of Circle Drive in the Village of Maine. When the owner of the mini-bike went to get the mini-bike out of storage for the summer, he discovered someone stole the mini-bike out of the garage. The mini-bike is red and has Red Bull graphics on it. There is also a scuff on the right rear side near the exhaust.

Burglaries in Eastern Marathon County and Recovered Property
June 15, 2017
Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your vigilance to help put a stop to the daytime residential burglaries occurring in eastern Marathon County.
On Thursday, June 8, 2017 between the hours of 5:30am and 3:30pm, a pole barn on Willow Ln in the Township of Norrie was forcibly entered and several items were stolen which include: a Husqvarna chain saw, a 6hp blue with white top Evinrude boat motor, an impact wrench, a torch set with 2 tanks a cart an solder kit, and a power washer 3600 PSI. The total loss is estimated at $2250.
Investigators have developed information indicating that multiple suspects are responsible for the break ins. Two arrests have been made but several firearms are still unaccounted for. To date, investigators have recovered suspected stolen property and are trying to identify the rightful owners. Residents are encouraged to inspect their property for any signs of foul play.

Burglary to a Garage

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to find the person who broke into a garage in the Town of Texas and stole a large amount of property.
Between May 2, 2017 and May 6, 2017, someone broke into a garage in the 5300 block of County Road W in the Town of Texas. A Craftsman air compressor, a Lincoln SP-135 Plus welder, a Schomacher battery charger, and numerous other tools used in vehicle repairs were stolen. The victim lost more than $2,000 of property as a result of this burglary.

Ongoing Vandalism in the Town of Green Valley

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to find the person who continues to cause damage to property in the Town of Green Valley.
Dating as far back as June of 2012 and continuing sporadically in 2013, 2014, and again in 2017, someone has dumped nails and screws on Eau Pleine Dr and Acorn Dr causing flat tires to numerous vehicles, drilled holes in Grader tires, driven rebar into a hayfield to intentionally cause damage to machinery, driven screws into logs damaging sawmill blades, drilled holes into the tires of a Log Skidder, slashed a trailer tire and intentionally drained the battery on a log skidder. The total loss is over $15,000.

Vandalism to a Skid Steer

Residential Burglary (Pistol Still Missing)

Vehicle Break-In's
April 28, 2017
Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to find person(s) who broke into multiple vehicles in the Village of Rothschild and the City of Wausau.
During the evening hours on March 29, 2017 and on April 3, 2017, someone went into multiple vehicles and stole people`s property. The vehicles were parked in employee parking lots of various industries that operate 24 hours a day in the southern portion of Rothschild. In one instance, the employee left their wallet in the vehicle, but it was visible from outside the vehicle. Both locked and unlocked vehicles were entered. Evidence was recovered in Rothschild which indicated this person also broke into other vehicles in the City of Wausau on April 3, 2017 in the Wausau West Side Industrial Park.

Criminal Damage to Vehicles

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to identify the vandals responsible for shooting out the windows in several vehicles in the Township of Weston and Rib Mountain.
Between Thursday, March 23, 2017 and Sunday, March 26, 2017 two dump trucks, a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am and a 95 Ford F350 had several windows shot out possibly with a bb gun. The vehicles were located on Morning Glory Lane and Anastasia Dr. It is possible the two incidents are connected.

Vehicle Hitting a Building

Armed Robbery
April 07, 2017
Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to identify the suspects involved in an armed robbery in the Township of Emmet.
On March 28, 2017 about 6:57am, an armed robbery was reported at a residence on Fairview Road. The suspects are described as one male Caucasian, approximately 5’11” and thin build. Two male Southeast Asians, approximately 5’4”. There is also possibly one female Asian involved. The suspects were wearing coverings over their face, and they were armed with a handgun and a bat during the robbery.
The suspects left the residence in an unknown direction, in a small white pickup truck with no topper. The suspects are to be considered armed and dangerous. Do not confront them, but call your local law enforcement authorities.
