On Sunday, June 23rd, between 9:00am and 11:30am, someone forced entry into a residence on Cardinal Ave by breaking the glass out of a rear kitchen door. As a result, money was taken from the residence. A suspicious white male was seen walking on Cardinal Ave about the time of the break in. The white male is further described as being in his early 20’s, short curly blonde hair, about 5’11 with a thin build and wearing baggy blue jeans that hung low on his waist. He was not wearing a shirt and had very light skin.

On 05/20/13 about 9:56pm, Everest Metro PD officers were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery that occurred at Little Caesars Pizza located at 1699 Schofield Ave in Weston. The employees reported that two unknown male persons dressed in black clothing covering their faces and bodies entered the store brandishing handguns and demanding money from the store safe and cash register. One of the male suspects was described as being African American and the other suspect’s ethnicity in unknown. The male suspects stole cash from the store as well as property belonging to the employees who were working at the time of the incident.

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is trying to identify people responsible for thefts of tools from various construction sites near Wausau.
During the weekend of May 18, 2013, two different construction sites had tools stolen from them. One was near N. 14th Ave. and Cassidy Dr. in the Town of Maine. The other was by the Wisconsin River Bridge by Business Highway 51 in the Town of Rib Mountain. Items stolen included a Dewalt 2400 watt generator, a Dewalt electric drill, a Stihl 029 chain saw, a 14” Partner chop/cut off saw, a 12” Stihl chop/cut off saw, a 2” electric water pump, and a David White transit.

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is trying to identify the people responsible for stealing recreational vehicles from a business in the City of Schofield.
Between Saturday March 30, 2013 and Sunday March 31, 2013 a 2003 600 EFI Arctic Cat Green/Black in color and a 2000 DS650 Bombardier ATV Yellow/Black in color were stolen from Kinney Racing. Also taken were two Chevy tire rims and several miscellaneous parts including a Jet Ski motor, an old snowmobile engine and misc. Yamaha engine parts. The total loss is estimated at $3500. Photographs attached are SIMILAR to those that were stolen.
A suspect vehicle is described as a blue Chevy truck, possibly a 2005, with an extended cab pulling a trailer.

From February, 2013 through May, 2013, a property owner who owns land on County Rd FF in the Town of Hamburg has had four game cameras stolen from his property. Three of the cameras were Cuddeback Capture infrared trail cameras. The fourth camera was a Cuddeback Ambush infrared trail camera. With other damage done at the property, the owner has sustained almost a $1,000.00 loss.

Fondie has a warrant for his arrest from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections and is wanted by the Everest Metro Police Department for Battery.

In April, 2013, a person stole pieces from farm machinery in the Town of Maine and Marathon County Crime Stoppers is attempting to identify who is responsible.
Between April 12th and April 19th, 2013 someone removed six yellow and black seed boxes from a John Deere corn planter and stole them from a farm implement dealer. The boxes were made of fiberglass and were about 13½” wide, 21” long, and 25” high. There were mechanical pieces attached to the boxes in order for the boxes to work on the planter. Several silver dollar collector coins were stolen from a coin show in the Township of Rib Mountain and Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to find the person who took them.
A coin show was held at Howard Johnson`s Hotel on Sunday, April 14, 2013 and a vendor there had twenty six coins stolen. Some of the coins were Morgan coins minted between 1878 and 1921. The remainder of the coins were Peace coins minted from 1922 through 1926. Shown here are pictures of coins which are similar to those which were stolen. The victim reported his loss to be $2,350.00.

In the beginning of February, 2013, a Honda EU3000is generator was stolen from within a business. Stolen from an adjacent business were five tons (1,250 bags) of Rib Mountain Bio wood pellets. Two tons were blended pellets; the other three tones were pine pellets. The generator was valued at $2,400.00. The wood pellets were valued at $1,095.00. Marathon County Crime Stoppers is trying to identify the person responsible for an Attempted Armed Robbery within the City of Wausau.
At about 4:15 PM on Friday, March 8, 2013, a juvenile male was the victim of an Attempted Armed Robbery on 2nd Street between Jefferson St and Scott St in the City of Wausau. A male, about 6’2” tall with a medium build, wearing a black ski mask, a brown Carhartt style jacket, blue jeans, and brown work books displayed a knife at the juvenile and attempted the robbery. The robbery was unsuccessful and the suspect left the area after pushing the juvenile to the ground.

In the afternoon or evening of November 1, 2012, at least two people broke into a house and a garage on River Road in the Town of Day. The suspects forced their way into the structures and stole multiple tools to include a welder, a black and yellow tool box, red air tanks, air tools, spray guns, and hand tools. Also stolen were a television, a Remington 7 mm bolt action rifle, and game systems. Some of the items have been recovered by law enforcement. The victim in this burglary sustained a loss of about $5,000.00

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is trying to identify the person(s) responsible for breaking into a house in the Town of Maine.
During daylight hours on February 19, 2013, an unknown person entered a house on East Cassidy Drive and stole an X-Box Kinect and five rings. Two men’s rings, both about size 10½ were taken. One was made of tungsten with a brushed middle stripe on it; the other was made of yellow gold with three diamonds set at an angle.
The other three rings were for women, all believed to be about size 8. The first ring belonged to the victim’s grandmother and was about 75 years old. The ring was made of 18 carat yellow gold and had a large solitaire diamond with two smaller diamonds mounted on each side of the larger diamond. This ring had a wedding band soldered to it with six to eight diamonds. The last ring was made of yellow gold with a three diamonds set, the middle diamond being the largest and with five small diamonds to each side of the middle diamond set. The picture is of this ring.

Hundreds of Red Pine trees have been damaged in Nine Mile County Forest Recreation Area off of Red Bud Rd in the Township of Rib Mountain and Marathon Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to solve this crime.
On January 8, 2013 it was discovered that there was extensive damage done to Red Pine trees in the form of girdling, tops being broken off and pruning. The damage done to the trees will result in death or significant deformations. It appears that some of the damage to the trees may be from previous years going back as far as 4-5 years. The most recent vandalism to the Red Pines appears to have possibly occurred the weekend of January 4-6, 2013. The Red Pine damage covers approximately 3 acres. It is estimated that about 600 trees have been damaged with a total loss of $31,800.

During the morning hours of Sunday, December 16th, 2012, an 8’x10’ snowmobile trailer was stolen from a yard on North 21st Street in the Town of Wausau. The trailer had nylon runners where the snowmobile skis ride and rubber pads for the snowmobile track. The trailer had blue and yellow factory graphics on the side which included the word "Ultra". The trailer had a 2" hitch and had been locked with a padlock.

On Saturday, January, 19th, 2013 around 2:00 p.m., a white male in approximately his mid 40’s stole two rings from Kohl’s in Wausau. The male requested to look at two rings. While the employee was retrieving boxes for the rings, the man took the rings and walked out the door. One of the rings had a 14 karat gold band with three diamonds. The second ring had a gold band with a silver inlaid pattern to it.
The male is believed to be about 5’5 to 5’9" tall with large glasses. It appears he weighs about 170 to 190 pounds and has reddish/brown hair with a receding hair line. He was wearing a dark blue pea coat and blue jeans. This man has also stolen expensive rings from Kohl’s in Janesville, WI and Moline, IL. Those thefts were on December 18th, 2012 and on January 12th, 2013.

On Friday, January 11, 2013 about 11:48 p.m., explosions were heard outside a residence on CTH S. When the homeowners checked outside, they found several bottles which appeared to have been filled with explosives had detonated. It appeared that several individuals had entered onto the property and set off the explosives. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
