On Sunday, December 16, 2017 between 7:50 am and 8:15 pm, a residence in the 3400 block of Robin Lane was burglarized. The suspect pried open and damaged doors at the residence to get inside. Once inside, the thief rummaged through drawers in the residence and made off with three brand new pairs of Adidas Yeezy 350 Black Pirate Tennis shoes (total retail value: $3735), a pair of Adidas Yeezy 750 Chocolate Tennis shoes (total retail value $835), a ladies silver in color Movado diamond watch ($1400) a 14 karat gold pendant and chain ($1266), and two Michael Kors purses ($200)

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is trying to identify and locate four people who stole property from a business in the Town of Texas.
At 11:50 PM on February 5th, 2018, two people went to a construction business in the 6900 block of County Road W and stole property from outside the business. These people were using a maroon color van. Two people were caught on surveillance video which one is a white male wearing what appears to be a dark colored hooded jacket and mittens.
In another incident, two people; a white male and a white female are driving a black or dark blue full size pick-up truck with a topper on it and a red sticker on the side of the box. This vehicle had a loud exhaust. The male had a heavy brown jacket on and has either black or brown hair.

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to solve a cold case homicide from 1988.
On November 22, 1988, Brian Douglas Jehn's remains were located in a wooded area south of Mosinee, WI not far from Highway 51 in Marathon County. Brian was last seen on September 23, 1988 at a bar in Wausau. Brian was 38 years old when he was beaten to death.
Law Enforcement believes someone in the area knows the person or persons responsible for Brian’s brutal killing. It is also believed the suspect or suspects may still reside in the area, therefore individuals are reluctant to come forward with information. The Marathon County Sheriff’s Office will aggressively enforce laws meant to protect victims and witnesses of crimes.
We know this is difficult; however, Brian’s children have been living with the knowledge that their father’s killers have gone unpunished for almost 30 years. Please look at Brian’s photo, and help bring closure to this case for the Jehn family and our community.

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is trying to identify who stole a snowmobile from Lake Wausau in the Town of Rib Mountain.
Between sunset on January 23rd and mid-afternoon on January 24th, 2018, someone stole a 1988 Yamaha Exciter 570cc snowmobile from Lake Wausau. The snowmobile was black with red “Yamaha” written on both the hood and the seat. The snowmobile was chained to a fishing shack. The vehicle has been entered into a national database as being stolen.

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to identify a male and female in connection to a battery that occurred in the Village of Rothschild.
On Monday, December 18, a male was being disruptive by “farting loudly and laughing about it” during a Star Wars movie at Cedar Creek Cinema. He was accompanied by a female. Shortly before 10pm when the movie was almost over, after asking the couple several times to chill out and be quiet, another patron had enough and tossed his empty popcorn tub at the disruptive male. The disruptive male then dumped his popcorn tub on the other male patron and punched him three times in the right side of his head while standing behind him. The victim left his seat to report the attack to staff and the male and female followed him out of the movie theater.
The couple left the movie theater and were seen running to their vehicle described as a gray Chevrolet truck, possibly a 2007 model, with an unknown license plate. The male suspect appears to be an Asian or Hispanic male, heavier set with shaggy black hair. He appeared to be wearing red shorts, some type of black slip-on shoes, long white socks, a black long sleeve shirt. He was with a female who also appears to be Asian or Hispanic. The female was wearing a black jacket, purple scarf, dark pants and tennis shoes.

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is trying to identify who stole a farm tractor from a field in the Town of Knowlton.
On or about December 20, 2017 between 3:00 and 4:00 PM, three people went into a field on the southeast corner of Depot Road and State Road 34 and stole a red Farmall H tractor. The three people who stole the tractor were using an older dark colored Chevrolet pick-up truck pulling a 20-30 foot gooseneck trailer and were pushing the Farmall tractor with a John Deere utility tractor. The original tractor owner was going to have the tractor restored.

On Saturday, December 30, 2017, between 1:00pm and 4:30pm, someone stole a dog from a yard on CTH H north of STH 29. The dog is described as a border collie/Australian Shepherd/Lab mix and is dark brown in color with a white spot on the chest. The dog’s name is Chloe and she is about 2 ½ years old.
On Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 4am, Chloe’s owner said she looked outside and saw a dog in the yard, but it wasn’t hers. Around 6:30am, when she went outside to see if she could find the dog, her dog Chloe came running in the house. Chloe was missing her collar and her owner believes that whoever took her may have seen Crime Stoppers from the day before and got scared about committing a crime and returned her. Chloe’s owner said she hopes the other dog spotted in her yard made its way home too.
The person who took Chloe is still out there and needs to be held accountable. The person of interest is a white female with glasses, medium to heavy build, and believed to be in her 30’s. The female was operating what was described as a white medium size sport utility type vehicle.

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is attempting to determine who stole two weapons from a residence in the Town of Mosinee.
On December 19, 2017, the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department took a complaint of two long rifles being stolen from a residence in the 1700 block of Bluebird Lane in the Town of Mosinee. One of the rifles was a Savage Pump Action 30-30 rifle with a scope and a camouflage sling. This rifle may have had an engraving of a deer on the stock. The other rifle was a 1970 Marlin Model 336 .35 caliber Centennial Edition rifle without a scope. The guns were stolen sometime between November 24 and December 17, 2017.

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to find the person(s) responsible for breaking into several plumbing vehicles in the Village of Weston.
Sometime overnight between Thursday November 16th and Friday November 17th, 2017 someone cut the locks off of five PGA plumbing trucks and stole various sizes of copper tubing and a brand new red Predator generator Model 4000 from inside them while they were parked at the business on Zinser St. The loss is estimated at approximately $1110.

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is attempting to locate a prisoner who was released from the Marathon County Jail with Huber privileges.
Scott R. Krueger was serving time in the Marathon County Jail for a variety of crimes to include sex offender registry violations. Krueger was released on a pass on November 7, 2017 for childcare and to fill out a job application. As of today, Krueger has not returned to the jail.
Krueger is 39 years old, is a white male, 5’08” tall, weighing 210 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes. He has multiple tattoos to include a pitch fork on his right middle finger and interconnecting rings and praying hands above his left wrist

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to identify a male suspect for illegal dumping in the Town of Bevent.
On Sunday, October 15, 2017 about 11:35am a white male driving a black 2015-2017 Ford F150 with chrome running boards, chrome mirrors, and chrome bumpers dumped a load of tires he was hauling in his black flatbed trailer with low rails at the Town Hall in Bevent. The white male suspect is described as having dark hair, a medium build and was wearing sunglasses, a dark colored sweatshirt with a design of the front, blue jeans and dark tennis shoes with white stripes on the sides. The cost of the cleanup will be about $500.

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for information to determine who criminally damaged some vehicles while they were parked at a business in the Town of Rib Mountain.
On or about November 30, 2017 up to December 5, 2017, someone drilled holes in the gas tanks of two vehicles while they were parked at a business in the 1100 block of Cloverland Lane in Rib Mountain. The repairs to these cars cost the company about $1,000.00.

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to identify a male suspect vandalizing property in downtown Wausau.
Over the course of several days from Friday, October 20th thru Monday, October 23rd, 2107 over 40 signs and trash cans were vandalized in Wausau’s downtown area by a type of graffiti known as “tagging.” The labor and materials cost of clean-up was about $1250. A suspect was observed on video surveillance committing this crime. He is described as wearing a distinguishing pair of red sneakers, dark pants with tight cuffs at the ankles, black baseball hat, grey hoodie, brown jacket and glasses.

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for information to determine who struck a power pole guy wire in the Village of Maine.
At about 12:35 AM on November 22, 2017, a pick-up truck was traveling north in the 9900 block of County Road K when it left the roadway and struck a power pole guy wire on the west side of the roadway. The truck was described as a late 1990’s General Motors regular cab pick-up truck with an 8 foot box. The truck was a dark color and had a lift kit and loud exhaust. It was able to leave the area; going north and sparking. As a result of the guy wire being hit, the top of the power pole was broke causing a power outage in the area and the pole had to be replaced.

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for information to determine who has been spray painting graffiti in the Village of Rothschild. .
Beginning in the evening of Friday, September 29, 2017 through the morning of Thursday, October 12, 2017, someone has been spray painting graffiti, first in the area of Military Road and Urban Street and then in the 300 block of Becker Street. Almost all the graffiti had the letters “YRSK” in it and some included profanity; some of which was on a church property. The second area of profanity included the same letters on Becker Street which also included profanity. Buildings, pavement, trees, and recreational vehicles were damaged by this graffiti. Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to identify the male who stole a wallet in the Township of Rib Mountain and made several fraudulent purchases that same day.
On Friday October 20, 2017 at approximately 5pm, a female was shopping at JoAnn Fabrics when she was approached by a female who was asking her questions about items in the store. While the female victim was distracted it is believed an unknown male stole the victim’s wallet from her purse in the cart. The victim continued to shop for about 20 minutes not realizing her wallet, credit cards and other items were missing. Meanwhile, a male suspect was making purchases with the victims stolen credit cards at Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Target, Younkers, and Victoria Secret. The male suspect had fraudulently purchased approximately $5600 worth of merchandise before the victim was able to cancel the credit cards.
The male suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6ft tall, 230lbs, wearing glasses a black hat with a Porsche or Ferrari emblem, a gray shirt with long black sleeves with a black hood, and black pants. It is believed he had an Eastern European accent. The female suspect is described as being about 5’2, average build, longer brown hair, well dressed. The female had an accent as well. The suspect vehicle appears to be a white minivan.

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for information on who was involved in an argument and shooting a firearm at a bar in the 800 block of South 3rd Avenue in the City of Wausau.
At about 1:30 AM on October 6, 2017, at least two males were involved in an argument at a bar. The two males went outside and continued their argument and at least six gunshots were fired. Both males fled the scene prior to law enforcement arrival and have not been identified.

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to find the people who burglarized two residences in the Township of Harrison.
Sometime during the month of September, a residence located on Damitz Rd was broken into and several items were stolen from the home and property. During the first week of October another residence and shed on Bear Lake Rd were broken into. The burglars kicked in doors and stole several items. Some of the items stolen include: a 1995 Polaris 6 wheel ATV, a 20 ton wood splitter, a Western Snow Plow, a pull behind lawn mower, two antique wood spoke wheels, two crossbows in cases, a Honda 2000 generator, a 42” Visio flat screen TV, a Bushnell rangefinder, six trail cameras, portable walkie talkies, a Craftsman radial arm saw and many other items.

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for information on who went into a vehicle during a DC Everest/Marshfield football game and stole a wallet.
On October 6, 2017, a group of people parked their white Chevrolet pick-up truck on Ferge Street north of Jelinek Avenue (to the east of Burger King) in the Village of Weston and went to watch the football game. When the game finished, the people went back to their truck and found the truck was entered and a wallet was stolen. Cash, credit cards, and identification cards were stolen.
