Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help identifying a person responsible for a theft of moveable property from a road construction site in the Town of Mosinee.
Between 4:00 PM on June 12, 2023 and 7:00 AM on June 13, 2023, an unknown person(s) entered a road construction site on County Road KK in the Town of Mosinee and stole four collapsible road signs and a red metal gas can. The road signs are made from a fabric material and are a reflective orange with the words “BUMP AHEAD” on them.
The total estimated loss was $1300.00.

SOLVED! Retail Theft
June 21, 2023
On June 3rd, 2023, at approximately 10:45 AM, an unidentified adult male entered the Cellcom store with an elementary school aged child. The adult and child stole a display phone and replaced it with a phone the child had brought into the store. The phone swap was discovered soon after the man and child left.
We are asking for help identifying the male in the attached photos for theft and general bad parenting.
The man is described as Hispanic and wearing dark joggers, a white “Always Litty” t-shirt and a possibly camo patterned baseball cap.

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help identifying a person responsible for retail theft at Walmart in the Township of Rib Mountain.
On June 2nd, 2023, at approximately 7:54 PM, an unidentified femalewent to Walmart and stole miscellaneous make up and hygiene items. The monetary value of the stolen items was $46.30.
We are asking for help identifying the female in the attached photo for retail theft. She was described as a white female in her early to mid 30’s.The white female was last seen wearing a white tank top, blue shorts with pink leggings, and black shoes. The female had orange hair in a ponytail.She was last seen traveling northbound on Rib Mountain Drive on foot.

May 25, 2023
Marathon County Crime Stoppers and City of Wausau Police Department are asking for your help identifying persons responsible for a theft of gasoline from the BP at 1205 Merrill Avenue in the City of Wausau.
On May 18, 2023, at 11:49 AM two black males wearing ski masks drove off from the BP gas station without paying for $21.00 in fuel. The males were described as black males one wearing blue joggers, green crocs, and a gray hoodie with red lettering that said “Backwoods” on the front. The other male who stayed inside the vehicle wore a blue hooded sweatshirt.
The vehicle was described as a white Ford Fusion with a cracked windshield and a sticker on the lower driver’s side corner of the windshield. The vehicle did not have any registration plates attached to it.

April 25, 2023
STATUS: SOLVEDMarathon County Crime Stoppers and City of Wausau Police Department are asking for your help identifying persons responsible for a theft from the Marshfield Clinic on December 14, 2022.
At 9:52 AM two white males had entered the Optical center of the Marshfield clinic and began asking questions of the staff and did not have appointments. The males then walked around the high end frames and removed at least 6 frames from the shelves and placed them in their pockets then left without paying for the frames.
The males were described as:
Male 1: White male, crew cut style red-ish colored hair, black jacket, black shirt, light/white colored shoes, mask over face.
Male 2: White male, black jacket, white colored button up shirt, blue jeans, black shoes.
Items Stolen:
2 pair of Nike frames: $225/ea ($500 total)
2 pairs of Tommy Hilfiger frames $166/ea ($332 total)
1 pair of Under Armour frames $175/ea
1 pair of Under Armour frames $159/ea
Total: $1166

Graffiti - Damage to Property
April 13, 2023
On March 24, 2023, an unknown juvenile male and possibly teenage female and another juvenile female were seen at George Street Park and an anonymous witness. That witness observed the juvenile male spray paint the outside of the building. Both the juvenile male and female are observed each with a paint can in their hands. There was graffiti on a park sidewalk, two park benches, women's restroom door, women’s restroom mirror, women’s restroom stall door, women’s restroom toilet, two water fountains, metal cap, concrete floor of shelter, eastern wall of shelter, rubber mat, and a pole on the jungle gym set. The total cost of repairing the damage was estimated at $1,000.00.
The juvenile male is wearing a green, white and yellow, a green and yellow hooded sweatshirt (left arm is green right arm is yellow), black sweatpants with the word “PUMA” on the outside of the left leg.
The Juvenile female is wearing a multi-colored pastel stripped winter jacket.
The older female has slightly longer than shoulder length brown hair with blonde highlights, a white sweater, blue jeans, and white shoes

On March 25, 2023, at approximately 9:03 PM an unknown female went to local retail store at the 22600 block of Rib Mountain Drivein the Township of Rib Mountain where $328 worth of merchandise was stolen.
We are asking for help identifying the female in the attached photo to further investigate the retail theft. She was described as a white female with dyed orange-ish blonde hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a white jacket, pink shirt, blue jeans with rips in the legs, tan Ugg-style boots, and carrying a large black purse with a red cherry hanging off the strap of the purse at the time of the incident.

March 15, 2023
At approximately 11:30 PM on January 1, 2023, an unknown male entered a bay at the Royal Wash located in at 530 State Road 153 in the City of Mosinee. The male appeared to be looking for video cameras and was with an unknown white female in a silver newer model Chevrolet SUV.
At 12:50 AM on 01/02/2023 the same male entered the dog wash side of the business and used a pry bar to gain entry to a locked mechanical room causing damage to the deadbolt. Nothing was reportedly taken from the property.
We are asking for help identifying the male in the attached photo and he is described as 5’10” tall weighing about 180 pounds with darker skin, darker facial hair (mustache and neck beard), wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue sweatpants or jeans, gray shoes with a white stripe around the base and a khaki backpack. February 28, 2023
Between 1:30 PM on January 12, 2023, and 7:30 AM on January 13, 2023, and unknown person or persons went through a vehicle parked at a residence in the 800 block of Chicago Avenue in the City of Wausau where a pair of shoes and a wallet were stolen.
At 6:41 AM on January 13, 2023, a debit card from the stolen wallet was used without permission to purchase items at Walmart in the amount of $39.01 and $2.18. Then later that morning at the Wausau Walgreens for $59.07 and Fast Fuel Mart for $21.10.

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help identifying a person responsible for the theft of and unauthorized use of someone else's credit card.
On January 26, 2023, in the Town of Rib Mountain a female was at TJ Maxx when she was asked by a customer to help her reach something on a shelf. While she did this someone else stole her wallet from her purse. A credit card from the wallet was then used at Sam’s Club to purchase $3,000.00 in gift cards.
We are asking for help identifying the people in the attached photos. It is believed they are part of a theft ring operating throughout the state of Wisconsin and possibly other states as well.

Marathon County Crime Stoppers and City of Wausau Police Department are asking for your help identifying a person responsible for utilizing a person’s credit card number without their permission.
On November 1, 2022, an unknown black male wearing a blue jacket, khaki pants, black shoes and a pink colored button-down shirt entered a jewelry store in the Town of Rib Mountain and uses a credit card that had been created with a stolen credit card number. The male purchased a 14k white gold tennis diamond bracelet and a pair of 14k white gold stud diamond earrings at a total cost of $6,498.00.

Mailbox Theft

Marathon County Crime Stoppers and City of Wausau Police Department are asking for your help identifying a person responsible for stealing a Menards Rebate Check from a mailbox in the City of Wausau after September 30th, 2022 and using that stolen rebate check at the Menards in Rhinelander on October 15 and 17, 2022.
The amount of the rebate check was $494.31.

SOLVED!!
Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your identifying a person responsible for stealing a KZ Sportsmen SE Travel Trailer from Kings Campers in the Town of Rib Mountain.
On November 21, 2022, at 11:17 PM an unknown person and his dog entered the Kings Campers parking lot in a dark blue 2002-2006 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab pickup truck with silver-colored wheels, except for the left front which was black and appeared to be a full-size spare. The human white male suspect wore a tan jacket and blue jeans and removed an information stand from in front of the travel trailer and placed it in the bed of his truck, then backed the truck up to the travel trailer and attached it to his truck then left with the travel trailer in an unknown direction. The retail value fo the travel trailer was $47,885.90.

On Sometime between 6:00 PM October 28th, 2022, and 6:30 AM October 31, 2022, an unknown person(s) entered the property of Wisconsin Coating Specialists and cut the catalytic converter off a 2017 Dodge 2500 pickup truck. The cost to repair the vehicle was estimated at $3,000.00.

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your identifying a person responsible for a burglary and attempted burglary at Rib Mountain State Park in the Town of Rib Mountain.
On September 6, 2022, at 11:30 PM an unknown male who appeared to be in his 40’s attempted to gain entry to a communication building on Rib Mountain State Park. A second unknown person drove what appeared to be a 2000’s model white Dodge pickup truck with an extended cab to the building as well. The truck appears to have a front guard on it with a light bar between the headlamps.
Between September 9, 2022, at 8:00 PM and September 10, 2022, at 8:00 AM an unknown person entered a locked maintenance building on Rib Mountain State Park and stole ten power tools (mostly Dewalt brand) with an estimated total loss at $1,680.00.
